Champagne Ratafia

A blend of must and grape brandy.

Grape varieties: pinot noir and meunier – Alcohol: 18%.

In the Eye: Amber pink

Nose: A lovely range of aromas, including orange peel, sultanas, figs, dates and marzipan.

In mouth: Seductively generous. The initial outset is smooth. The flavours concentrate on dried fruit and candied citrus fruits, lightly coated by an alcoholic creaminess.

Food and wine pairing: As an aperitif, with foie gras toast. Excellent with fresh melon.

For dessert, with a chocolate moelleux cake.

Ideal serving temperature: between 8° and 10° C.
